In your last post, you said "In fact, the new Downtown loop is the first place on the line with brand new rail, as the original is not up to the specs of modern streetcars." Does that mean the newer streetcars will run the downtown loop exclusively, while the rest of the line continues to run the antique variety? Do you have an idea of what the timetable will look for the downtown loop?

Perhaps someone has already asked this, but I was curious as to when the Olive Street extension would be open. I'm aware that it's sometime in 2013 - but do you have at least a month? The reason I ask is that my fiancee and I are planning a wedding in 2013 and would like to utilize MATA to help transport our guests. Thank-you.

the mata should really be advertised more. if people really knew about its capabilities as, not only a destination but, a means of transportation, i think theyd be tempted to try it out! maybe something small can help. for example, in the light of its vintage feel y'all could commission an artist to do murals somewhere. i envision a moving trolley, you cant exactly make out which one it is but you can recognize it as such; with text like: we'll move you quickly, consistently. do that!
